Hospitals in Saskatchewan order milk from Northern Star Milk Bank to have frozen pasteurized donor human milk available for babies. Please discuss with your healthcare provider if donor human milk is available in your location.

Milk Drop Locations

Milk Drop locations in Saskatchewan are in Regina, Saskatoon and Yorkton. These locations collaborate with the non-profit Northern Star Mother’s Milk Bank to collect donations of milk from screened individuals.

Donors complete a screening process and then are able to drop off milk that is frozen. It is then shipped to Northern Star where is it tested, pasteurized and distributed to hospitals and communities.

There is no cost to donate and donors are not paid for the donation of their milk.
