This team of specialists help children with cleft lips, cleft palates or both (cleft lips and palates).
A child can have many medical needs because of a cleft lip and/or palate including problems with feeding, hearing, teeth and speech. Our teams of specialists help take care of these needs and operate our of Regina and Saskatoon. The Saskatoon team provides the Central & Northern Saskatchewan Cleft lip & Palate (CNSCP) Clinic, which is approved by the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association.

Clinics are held 7 times per year in the Children's Program at Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina | Clinics are held monthly in the Outpatient Department at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital in Saskatoon |
Children enrolled in this clinic will be seen until they graduate high school | Children enrolled in this clinic will be seen until the age of 16 |
Team members work together to make a care plan which will support your child and family's individual needs. The clinics are team-based appointments, where you and your child will see most of the team members in one appointment. Please expect your appointment to be one and a half (1.5) - two (2) hours long. The appointment may be longer based on your child's needs.
