The pediatric neurology team is located in the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital in Saskatoon.
We use evidence-based medicine, medical education and research to diagnose and treat brave kids facing challenges such as:
- Epilepsy (seizures)
- Headaches
- Neuromuscular disorders
- Cerebral palsy
- Movement disorders
- Developmental delay
- Multiple sclerosis
- Neurogenetic disorders
- Neurometabolic disorders
Our team also provides neonatal (newborn) neurology care and uses pediatric EEG (electroencephalogram), EP (evoked potential), EMG (electromyography) and NCS (nerve conduction study) tests to help determine a child’s diagnosis and care plan.
Pediatric neurology is connected with many programs to help provide care and services for your child. They include:
- Pediatric Epilepsy Program of Saskatchewan
- Neuromuscular Program
- Headache Clinic
- Ketogenic Diet Clinic
Our team accepts new patients after we receive an official referral from your family doctor, pediatrician, nurse practitioner, a neurosurgeon or a neurologist. Talk to your child’s doctor about referring them to the pediatric neurology clinic.
