The Orthopedic clinic is held for children up to the age of 18 who have been diagnosed with conditions such as cerebral palsy, congenital anomalies or other neurodevelopmental conditions affecting the bones, joints and muscles.
The clinic functions to provide consults to determine the need for surgical intervention, or for pre and post-surgical consultation and follow-up. Children may also been seen for ongoing monitoring of orthopedic concerns.
Your child will receive consultation with an orthopedic surgeon, supported by a Physiotherapist. A nurse, an Orthotist and other members of the child’s therapy team may also attend the appointment with the child.
