Inside Our Hospital

Located at 103 Hospital Drive in Saskatoon, the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital is a modern facility, designed for the care and comfort of patients ages 16 and under and maternal patients.

Our beautiful mural welcomes patients into the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital.
Families can relax in a waiting room overlooking the South Saskatchewan River.
Our wards are decorated with colours to help create a sense of relaxation for patients.

A room in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit/HIgh Acuity Unit, which will care for critically ill infants, children and teens from all over the province.
Murals throughout the hospital provide a welcoming atmosphere to children and their parents.
All maternal care rooms at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital are private rooms where moms will labour, deliver and remain with their baby for their whole stay.

Childminding
The Childminding Centre is a safe space for families to access short-term supervision for children between 18 months up to 12 years old as well as services for children up to 14 years of age with special needs.
Children’s Emergency Department
The Children’s Emergency Department is where children go when they are seriously sick or hurt are not getting better, so need to see a doctor right away.
Day Medicine
Day Medicine is located on the main floor, close to the Pediatric Outpatient Department, known as the Les and Irene Dube Center for Child Care.
Family & Play Spaces
Our hospital is a place for patients and their loved ones to learn and heal together. The family and place spaces allow you to spend time together, both in the room and outdoors.
Family Theatre
The theatre is a place where children, families and staff can take part in special events and entertainment.
JPCH Children’s Therapies
Children’s Therapies is part of the Interprofessional Practice Team (IPP Team) and provides both inpatient and outpatient services at the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
Maternal Care Centre
The Maternal Care Centre at Jim Pattison Children's Hospital offers a variety of inpatient and outpatient services to maternal patients.
Maternal Outpatient Clinic
The Maternal Outpatient Clinic offers consultations and clinics around cesarean sections (C-sections), anesthesia in C-sections and diabetes in pregnancy.
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at JPCH
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a space where your child will receive specialized care for health complications after birth.
Pediatric Inpatient Unit
The pediatric inpatient unit is for children and youth ages 16 and under who have been admitted to the hospital, meaning that they are staying overnight or longer-term. 
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
The pediatric intensive care unit is where children with complicated, serious, or unpredictable conditions receive care.
Pediatric Outpatient Clinic
The pediatric outpatient clinic, also known as the Les and Irene Dube Center for Child Care, is located on the main floor of the Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.
Pediatric Surgery & Recovery
The Jim Pattison’s Children’s Hospital has surgical operating and procedural rooms specialized for children.
School Room
Being hospitalized for an extended period of time may put children behind in their learning.
Sleep Lab
Sleep studies (polysomnography) are ordered by a respirologist, a doctor who specializes in breathing and lung health problems, for children with sleep disorders such as sleep apnea or difficulty maintaining sleep.  
Special Procedure Room/Catheterization Lab
Cardiac catheterization is a procedure used to examine heart problems. For some patients, it is used to treat heart conditions.
Teammates for Kids Child Life Zone
Child Life offers support and education for patients and families to help reduce the anxiety and stress of a hospital stay.
