Specific Location Information

Various locations in Saskatchewan provide prenatal education and parenting classes. There are in person and online classes, or a combination of both. There are different options in each location.

Various locations in Saskatchewan provide prenatal education and parenting classes. There are in person and online classes, or a combination of both. There are different options in each location.  

Please contact your local Public Health Office link or your First Nation link.

Saskatoon and Surrounding Area

In person and online prenatal classes are offered.

The cost for both in person and online is $50.00 per couple. Registration is required to attend prenatal classes, both in person and online.  The fee may be waived due to financial hardship.

In person education is available for you and your family in two options. This education is provided at three different locations in the Saskatoon area. These sessions are provided during the week and on weekends.

  • Weekday evening prenatal series with one evening per week for three weeks.

  • Weekend workshop prenatal series with the same content as weekday sessions. This is available on a Friday evening and a full day Saturday. On the Saturday there is lunch break, so you can bring your own lunch or go to a nearby location to buy your own meal.

Prenatal Education Fillable Registration Form

On-line education is available for families in Saskatoon and surrounding area.

The online prenatal education is available from InJoy. Online classes have unlimited access for 270 days.

The information is presented as modules that include interactive activities and videos.

Unique features include:

  • Access to multiple languages including:  English, Spanish, Portugese, French, German, Chinese, Japanese and Arabic
  • Accessibility features can be selected.
  • A preview of the on-line education is available here

To assist us in meeting you and your family’s individual needs and to register, please complete the Fillable Registration Form (above) and send to Saskatoon Prenatal Education via:

Pre-payment  is required for registration and you will be sent an email with instructions on how to set up an account for the online learning modules.

Note: This form cannot be saved filled in. Please print and scan to email. This is not a secure site for payment so you may wish to call in with your credit card number.

Regina and Surrounding Area

In person prenatal education is offered and provided at various public health offices.

Class attendance is free with the option to purchase Baby’s Best Chance book.

Each prenatal session is 4 classes and offers up-to-date information on what to expect.  These classes are provided during weekday evenings and some weekends.

Prince Albert and Surrounding Area

Online prenatal education is offered.

The cost for online education is $50.00 per couple. Registration is required to access the online education.  Online classes have unlimited access for 270 days.

The on-line education has videos, links, and printable handouts. The education contains local information about delivering your baby at the Victoria Hospital.  There is an “Ask A Nurse” tab that connects you to one of our Registered Nurses to answer your questions and provide you resources.

In person prenatal lactation consults are available if you want more information prior to delivery. To book with one of our International Board Certified Lactation Consultants (IBCLCs) you can call our booking line and ask for a lactation consultant.
