The Canadian Bone Strength Development Study (CanBSDS) aims to investigate differences in bone development between children with and without type-1 diabetes. We are looking for both children with and without type 1 diabetes between the ages of 10-12.9 years to participate.
Participation in CanBSDS study would involve up to 4 annual measurement sessions (1 session/year for the next 4 years) at the University of Saskatchewan. Each measurement session is about 1.5 hours long and honorariums are provided as a token of appreciation. Please see the CanBSDS Recruitment Poster or visit our website (https://www.canbsds.ca/) for more information.
If you are interested in participating, please contact us at canbsds@usask.ca or 306-966-1096.
